I first learned about Darkfield Microscopy when I studied a pathology subject at QLD University. It was used to investigate the size, shape, associations, ratios and fine structure of the red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets using an elaborate microscope setup.
Now as a practitioner I am trained to utilise or screening tools to help recognise how different signs and symptoms may relate to my patients health status and as such will be able to work with my patients to develop dietary and lifestyle plans to improve their health.
